Here are some of the highlights of the trip (those with young kids will understand why these are such highlights):
-sleeping 10 hours the first night with no middle of the night interruptions
-laying by the pool and relaxing for a day
-going to see a movie
-sleeping in (Maddie thinks 6am is sleeping in)
-having uninterrupted conversations and just laughing together
We got this burger at Holsteins. It is called the Gold Standard, and it was addicting as Matt said. It should be for an $18 burger! (but thanks to groupon, it was like getting the 2nd free!) They also had the best milkshake we had ever had, it was like an almond joy (we had it without the alcohol). We have decided that we are going to try and recreate it.
Our room at the Wynn. The view was unbelievable!
Matt standing in front of the Wynn golf course. It is $500 to golf there, so needless to say, Matt only took his pic and did not golf.
This was our dessert the restaurant gave us for our anniversary. It was a flourless cake and carmel ice cream.
Happy 9th anniversary, babe!
I feel that I need to also note how amazing my parents were for taking the kids. Maddie ended up with the stomach bug, and by the 2nd day we were gone, my dad, mom and Maddie all had it. My aunt was also awesome and came to take care of Mikayla since everyone else was sick. This is Maddie's first time away from me, so she did not take it well since she was sick. Thank you Dad, Mom, and Aunt Margie!

So glad you guys were able to do this!
And, I have to say, your parents are awesome all the time, not just when they are taking care of your sick kids (which is pretty nice too!).
Miss you!
